David Badman, metalsmith and designer, began with a simple goal in 1988: to keep his new business solvent for six months. Over 20 years later, Badman Design is synonymous with quality metals, fun, jewelry, home decor, liturgical art and more.

"My first actual interaction with Alerus was when they helped me buy a used Mac computer. Looking back it doesn't seem like such a big deal, but at the time this was a critical purchase for expanding the design aspects of my business, and Alerus appreciated the fact that my business was growing," says David.
